I'm New

Welcome to Crossroads Bible Church!
We believe knowing Jesus Christ and experiencing His grace gives meaning to each of our lives. We’re a community of imperfect people who have found Jesus is worth following because His grace has transformed us. We invite you to join in gathering with us. Our hope for you and your family is to find a meaningful community that pushes you toward your relationship with God.

What To Expect

Our services feel casual, and our hope is that you would find it a safe environment to explore what it means to be in a relationship with Christ.

Our gatherings begin with a time of worship through music—typically a mix of contemporary worship with a few time-honored hymns—all intended to direct our focus and give honor to God.

The act of reciting scripture is important for reflecting praise, thanksgiving, remembrance, supplication or repentance.  We try to incorporate a brief call-and-response format of Liturgy into every service to prepare our hearts for the message.

You’ll hear an authentic message drawn from Scripture each week. We typically go through books of the Bible, focusing on a passage each week. Through teaching drawn from the Old and New Testaments, we learn to see God, ourselves, life, and history from God’s perspective. We want more than Bible knowledge, we want the scriptures to bring about change as we apply it to life.

Giving is worship and it's motivated by gratitude for God’s grace. Through giving, we are reminded of all God has given. If you are a visitor, we do not expect you to give. We are simply glad to have you join us.  Giving can be done online or via cash or check by mail or in one of our giving boxes in our sanctuary.

Come as you are. We don’t have a dress code. People tend to dress up a little more for our biggest celebrations (Christmas and Easter), but most Sundays you’ll fit right in wearing whatever makes you comfortable.

Sunday services are an important part of following Jesus and obeys His command to gather as a body of believers, but we believe true growth happens in small groups where you can know others and be known.  We encourage all of our members to engage in a small group community, and we would love to walk you through the process of finding the group that's right for you.

After visiting CBC for a while, we hope you'll decide to make us your church home! While membership is not necessary for attendance, we'd love to know you're committed to our CBC family.  We offer Newcomer lunches several times a year to meet our staff and other new families. The next step is a CBC 101 class where we share more about who we are and what we believe. This class also serves as a great place to ask any questions you have about us as a church. If you'd like to become a member after attending CBC 101, we'll set up a meeting for your family with one of our Elders and Deacons for a brief, casual interview.

If you'd like more  information about joining CBC or have questions, please reach out to Britt.Ousley@crossroadsbible.org.
