Students (6th-12th Grade)
Our Student Ministry exists to help students see and grow towards Jesus here and now!
Middle School (6th-8th grade)
Middle School is such a valuable time in the life of a student. The transition from child to young adult starts happening in this stage of their life. We desire to come alongside families as students start taking hold of their faith by providing them with specific spaces for them and helpful resources for them to grow and see Jesus in the 6th-8th grade years.
Sunday mornings we gather for time to dig into scripture that is specifically tailored for Middle School students that directly correlates with what is being discussed in the worship hour. We desire to start conversations and discussions that overflow with families throughout the rest of the week. We meet in the Fireside room at 9:00am.
Tuesday Nights is a high-energy, fun, theme-driven gathering that meets throughout the school year and challenges middle school students in small groups led by our high school students. We meet from 7:00-8:30 at CBC in the Gathering Space downstairs.
We “go” as a community throughout the year with local service times in the DFW area, as well as encouraging our students to volunteer at CBC with a variety of opportunities.
High school (9th-12 Grade)
High School students have questions, and lots of them. We create places and opportunities for our high school students to come together, laugh, be encouraged, build community, and ask hard questions as we walk the path of faith closer to Jesus.
We believe in our students and their value to larger church. That is why we encourage our students to attend our high school gathering from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Gathering Space downstairs, then attend the 10:45 a.m. gathering.
Wednesday Nights are a weekly gathering centered around Bible Study. It’s the main way we grow in our high school ministry and pursue authentic community. It is the backbone of our high school ministry. Each week, we split into different groups (All guys groups, all girls groups, and mixed groups) that are led by adults meeting in local area homes. On top of local mission trip opportunities, we have a summer mission trip to Mexico where we spend a week building houses and growing community with each other.
