Support Groups

CareNet

Email CareNet if you need emotional support during a time of need.CareNet is a network of encouragers, available to listen and offer spiritual feedback. CareNet is safe and anonymous by design so that any person can find help for any situation without the risk of public disgrace. CareNet cares. We also run several support groups each week, including DivorceCare, GriefShare and The Journey, a program for women on the journey of infertility.

Although we operate on a semester-based schedule, you may join us at any time. If our class cycle has already started, you can register in person when you attend your first meeting.

Griefshare – Not meeting this spring

GriefShare is not meeting at Crossroads Bible Church this winter/spring. However, there are many other local churches who are hosting. Go to https://www.griefshare.org/, type in your zip code and find the one which best suits your schedule. Not ready for a group? Sign up to get daily emails for a year.

Contact judith.johannesen@gmail.com with questions.

GriefShare is a special weekly support group for people grieving the death of someone they love. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At each session you will spend a portion of the time viewing a video featuring personal stories and expert insights on topics important to grief recovery, and the remainder of the time we spend in discussion together. This support group welcomes both men and women.

DivorceCare

Are you divorced or separated? DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.

TenderHearts

If you are a widow who has come through grief to the point of asking “what’s next?” we invite you to join Tender Hearts.
