We desire to move each individual CBC touches along a "Growth Path" which is summarized by our four point philosophy:

Every One ... A Believer

Jesus Christ "came to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). If someone is not a Christian, our goal is to share clearly and lovingly the good news of salvation through faith in Him.

Every Believer ... A Disciple

Salvation is the beginning of spiritual life, but God's purposes do not end there. We are to go on to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). We seek to stimulate believers to adopt the disposition of an active learner (disciple) of Christ.

Every Disciple ... A Servant

How does one know if he is in fact growing to be like his Savior? Christ said of Himself that He "did not come to be served, but to serve" (Matt. 20:28). If we are truly growing as disciples, we will be progressively adopting the attitude of willing servants of Christ and others (Phil. 2:3-4).

Every Servant ... A Minister

The Lord never intended the ministry to be the realm of a few so-called "professionals"; it is the privilege and responsibility of every member of the Body of Christ. The proper role of the full-time ministers is being "equippers" of the saints (Eph. 4:11-13).

Everyone fits into this continuum of growth somewhere; no matter where you are, there is room and a challenge to stretch and grow!
