Kids (0-5th Grade)
We exist as a children’s ministry to walk alongside parents as they disciple their children. It is our passion to equip parents to be spiritual leaders in their homes as they live out Deuteronomy 6. We also believe the church is designed to be an outflow of Christ-like love, and we strive to display that love to your children.
Our Children's ministry is birth-5th grade and has wonderful classes during both the 9:15 am and 10:45 am services. Our classrooms are staffed with trained, friendly volunteers that provide a safe and loving environment for children. We want parents to have peace of mind when they place their child in our care, so all staff and teachers have gone through training and background checks to be qualified to work with the children at Crossroads Bible Church. Teachers are well-trained in hygiene practices to keep our classrooms clean and sanitary.
Check in & Security
Children may be checked in 30 minutes before service begins, but they may only be dropped off 15 minutes early and once their leader arrives. If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration form to receive a security sticker. The sticker serves 3 purposes:
It is a security measure for checking out your child. Your child can only be released from class with the matching security sticker.
It is a means of letting teachers know of any allergies or health issues.
It is a means of contacting you if we should need you during the service, your security number will show on the screen in service.
Faith Path is a guide to help parents raise and disciple their children through a focus of specific practices and milestones at certain ages. Each step is customizable to your specific needs. Check out more on our Faith Path page.
HomeFront Magazine is a free monthly spiritual parenting resource full of fun ideas, recipes and articles to bring faith home. You can download it here, or you can pick it up on one of our Spiritual Parenting Recourse walls located in the Preschool or Elementary hallways.

Preschool (Infants - Kindergarten)
For infants through kindergarteners, Incrediville is our environment for them to discover God’s amazing love.
To a preschooler, the world is full of new discoveries. In Incrediville, it is our passion to offer exciting, age-appropriate environments for preschoolers to discover God and to establish the foundations of their faith by showing them that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

Our elementary ministry at Crossroads is focused on helping kids discover the Word in fun and unique ways, building relationships, and being the church. At CBC, we know our children are not simply the church of the future - they are the church of today.
Here's what your elementary kids are learning about this week, September 23:
Today Kids will be looking at 2 Samuel and the story of David moving the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem.
Today's memory verse is: 1Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good. His faithful love continues forever.
Some great questions to ask this week are:

2. What happened as the ark was moved? Were instruments played?
3. Who had God chosen to move the ark?
4th & 5th graders:
4th & 5th graders will start a new curriculum called THE BOOK. This week is focused on how we know that the Bible is True, and learning some fun facts about the Bible.
Kids are learning about what the Bible is useful for and what they can learn from it.
Memory Verse: 2 Timothy 3:16-17:
“God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.”
Some great questions to ask are:
1. How can scriptures written so long ago be useful for us today?
2. How is scripture like a GPS?
3. What is an amazing fact you learned about the Bible today?
