At CBC, we value building in to and equipping our leaders. We see this happen all the time through small conversations and ministry specific trainings all year, but once a year we like to gather all of our leaders together in one space. On January 21st from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we'll gather together to focus on becoming better leaders. We're bringing in a guest speaker, Dr. Stephen Macchia, who will speak about finding rest in God and how that helps us discover His purposes for us.
Stephen A. Macchia is founding president of Leadership Transformations, Inc. and Director of the Pierce Center for Disciple-Building at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he serves on the teaching team in the Doctor of Ministry department. He teaches courses and leads seminars on leadership development, spiritual formation and direction, church health, team building, discipleship, family life, and spiritual vitality. He and his wife Ruth have two children, Nathan and Rebekah, and make their home in Lexington, Massachusetts.
